Hello Rogues,
Being myself a maker of films, I thought it'd be interesting to try out the concept of a script for a movie written by you, the members of the Rogue. This concept is currently 'just for fun', but I may see what i can do about bringing it to the screen at some point. The theme of the film can be anything you want, from Action to Horror, Romance to Comedy, or even a mixture of them all!
First you must all agree on a theme, and then a storyline. then you can get round to creating your blockbuster masterpiece, scene by scene!

Ok, Step #1: Genre. This is probably on of the most important parts, as you'll all need to agree on a genre you all like, and would have ideas for. It'd be a good idea to first pic a general theme, (action/comedy/romance etc), which can then be refined later (e.g. Satire/Slapstick for comedy, Fantasy/Modern world for action etc.)
State which genre you'd feel most happy writing a script for, and we can set up a poll once several themes have been put forward.
So Sci-Fi and comedy appear to be the most popular choices.

After coming up with the basic storyline, you can start to beef it out with a timeline of events, add in plot twists etc. Then it's on to writing the script itself. Remember it's a team contribution, and you can use this thread to discuss any queries or aspect of the script, and even post sections as you write them.
