Anyway, all the points that Giz made are very valid, and I've asked the same questions. Why is there no notification on the Filefront main site, or on the Ziff Davis website? Why didn't they put up a small html file if nothing else saying "Closed due to lack of funds."? The answer I keep getting is "corporate america". All I can say is that ZD never did seem to take a shine to FileFront, so I wouldn't be completely shocked if this was real. Disappointed, yes. But not shocked.

I'm not a big fan of Ziff Davis either, and I certainly hope that you aren't playing along with a grand joke.

Ziff Davis has been having trouble for years now. Most of their major publications have been tanking (many were cut like EGM and CGW) and they're really not on top of things because they've got financial matters to worry about. It wouldn't surprise me if they sacked the guy who kept the site updated and haven't bothered to do much with it. What's stupid is that they posted the relevant news but didn't update the rest of the site.

Well, I've been to one world fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, and that's the stupidest thing I ever heard come over a set of earphones. You sure you got today's codes?
