I guess I'm too focused on the storyline lately. And sadly it feels that the script-writers got seriously cut funding compared to the FX artists.

--Like for instance - where the hell was the full mobilisation of earth or something. All they needed was a few shuttles to like fire on the drill.

They've been brainstorming since late March and they will actually start making some real progress soon(Pegg predicts 18 months from now which would be x-mas 2010 but paramount wants may 2011). And if the second movie does good enough, we will get a third(May? 2013?/2nd and 3rd movies could be tied in, they might not) and if that one does good, a fourth movie(May? 2015?). Then if the 4th movie is successfull, a series with same cast(2017?).

So, yeah we've got a few years to go still until we get to whats next(post ST:Countdown/ST:O related series?/movie?/Romulan War series?/movie?/Titan series?/movie?).
