Heard this not too long ago. Shame really, I've always loved Avenged Sevenfold's stuff and I know a few other Rogues did too. Not sure what this means for the future of the band, I guess time will tell?

He was the drummer and did backup vocals for the Southern California heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold. Sullivan appears to have died of natural causes according to police reports. Considering he was only 28 years of age, there's speculation that drugs were involved.

Sullivan wasn't only known for his talents with Avenged Sevenfold. He also sang and played piano for a band called Pinkly Smooth. In addition, he also drummed for the band Suburban Legends. The musician will be missed by friends, fans and his family including his wife Leanna MacFadden.

Aye. Heard this not long ago too. Pretty gay news, really. A7X are (were?) a good band and The Rev's drumming was pretty top notch.

I'm curious to see whether they'll pick up a new drummer--and whether he'll be any good.

I just heard on the news that the Rev's autopsy results for the cause of death are inconclusive.

He must have found a new drug.

Why is it always the drummers or bass players that take a dirt nap?
