Unfourtunately country music went ever so slightly gay since the last time I listened to it. 'My wife's fucking the dog because it's more handsome than me, and mah kids are pregnant with their uncles' children. Oh woe is me, la-de-da. Boo fucking hoo.'

I used to listen to country music a lot when I was younger, there was this one webradio station, Always Country, had some great stuff on it every so often; really old. Stick it on at the start of the night and turn it off at the end. Tried listening to it again recently but it's not up anymore, apparently with the new licensing laws they can't afford to operate.

There used to be songs about sherrifs shooting people and so on, what the hell happened? It's like peoples balls all fell off or something. The occasional song out of people like Toby Keith manages to avoid being suicidally awful I guess but it's thin and far between, don't listen to the radio enough to find it hidden among the crap anymore.
